A tall redhaired german moving to Madison, Wisconsin? Now that could develop into an interesting story, ay?! Any resemblance of the blog title to movie titles is fully intentional :)

Gas prices

... dropped from around $3 per gallon to $2.23. Still Americans bitch about how much cheaper it was some years ago.
Europeans can only laugh about that, coz 1 gallon = 3.79l and $2.23 = 1.76 Euro which comes to 46.4 Eurocents per liter.

I think I should go, get my car and drive around Madison for a while ;)

PS: FYI the average price for a liter of gas in Germany is 1.187 Euros today, converting that to $/gallon, you'd end up at $6.86/gallon!

Hi Daniel - dont you think you should probably buy a bigger car - something like a Chevrolet or a truck, something that really needs a lot of gas - its cheap!!??... By the way, a friend told that these days squirrels come over from America to attack our tiny, small, shy and redhaired german sqirrels - which in cause of that die out...hm..really a sad story:-)
